Pawzz Doggy Daycare - Terms and Conditions
- All dogs must be a member of Pawzz Doggy Daycare Club. All dogs must attend a minimum of 1 day per week to be properly integrated.
- Only dogs considered to be well socialised, who enjoy the company of other dogs and people are suitable for joining Pawzz Doggy Daycare Club.
- Please note that not all dogs are suitable for a daycare setting. They may attend a meet and greet seem ok but after a few sessions settle in and become unsuitable. We may ask for you to leave if this happens.
- All dogs will attend a meet and greet where we will do an assessment of suitability prior to attending. There may be a waiting time to do this.
- Daycare is open Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5.30pm if you require us to be there before or after these times there is a surcharge of £2.00 for every 15 mins.
- Dogs with behaviour or aggression issues will not be accepted. Dogs who have attacked, bitten or injured another dog or person will not be permitted to attend. If any of the above happen while here you will be required to collect your dog immediately.
- Your dog must have basic manners also, no jumping up, no nipping or mouthing at your hands, basic sit, stay and leave. They must be able to wait at a gate or door for the command to go through.
- If your dog attacks or injures another dog you will be responsible for not only your vet bill if your dog is hurt but also the vet bill of the dog that was attacked. If the attack was 50/50 then both parties will be responsible for their own bill. We will not be responsible for vets bills unless we have been negligent.
- All dogs must display the appropriate behaviour around all dogs. We will not permit excessive humping or obsessive and destructive behaviours either. Dogs who continuously bark will need to attend training to address this behaviour. Dogs who bark continuously will not be allowed to attend daycare until this issue is resolved.
- If your dog persistently damages areas within the premises you will be asked to address this behaviour. We provide appropriate dog toys here for all dogs to use. Should this behaviour continue then we will either ask you not to bring your dog back or to pay for the damage done. If your dog is toy possessive we will require you to seek professional help to address this issue.
- All male dogs over the age of 6 months must be neutered there is no exception and we will block your booking link once this age has been reached until they are neutered.
- Female dogs who come into season will not be able to attend Pawzz Doggy Daycare for the duration of their season (3-4 weeks). This is to protect them from obsessive attention and also make sure it does not cause fights with attending male dogs.
- Written consent is required to post pictures and videos of your dog on our social media platforms or for marketing. agreeing to our terms and conditions confirms consent.
- All dogs accepted must have proof of up-to-date vaccination certificate including kennel cough submitted with your application. We require all dogs to be micro-chipped in accordance with NI law. This must be provided yearly when vaccines and kennel cough have been updated. Your booking link will be blocked if we do not have current vaccination records.
- All dogs accepted require to be wormed and de-fleaed regularly. If we find proof of fleas or worms your dog will be quarantined and you will be required to collect your dog immediately. They will not be allowed to attend again until a vet has confirms the issue has been resolved.
- In the unlikely event of your dog being involved in an accident or in an emergency, Pawzz Doggy Day-care will take your dog to Drumahoe Veterinary Clinic immediately you will be responsible for all costs if we have contacted you prior and you have agreed to us taking the dog to the vet. If the injury has been caused by our negligence we will pay full costs however we will not be responsible for the cost if we have not been negligent.
- Puppies from 8 weeks are welcome – please discuss this with your vet prior to booking in, as your dog may not have an immune system to deal with being around other dogs yet. It is preferable that your dog has had both sets of vaccinations and has the 5 days after the last vaccination to ensure their vaccinations can protect them. Kennel cough is not usually done routinely unless asked for.
- All dogs in our care must wear collars not harnesses with an I.D tag. This is in accordance with Northern Ireland Laws.
- All dogs who book a daycare slot on our booking page must pay for their session in advance of arrival. We accept payments through our booking system, in cash or card on arrival or bank transfer S/C 95 06 79 A/C 101 819 94 Danske Bank Altnagelvin.
- Pawzz Doggy Daycare will not accept responsibility for the death, injury or illness of your dog. You are strongly advised to insure your pet for all eventualities.
- If your dog has watery stools or is generally feeling unwell vomiting etc. please do not bring them to daycare as there is a possibility it will be passed to all other daycare attendees. If your dog has continual soft stools then we will ask you to either change the food or attend the vet to have this remedied. Dogs should be housed trained to do all of their poops and pees outside.
- We are not here to train your dog all training must be done with a dog trainer or at home. We will correct them and give them time out if needed.
- All bookings must be made through our web page and paid for in advance of attendance.
- If you have to cancel your booking we require more than 24 hours notice you can reschedule or have a full refund. Any booking cancelled less than 24 hours no refund will be offered. Please note daycare opens from 7.30 e.g if you need to cancel a day this must be done before 7.30am 24 hours prior to your attend to ensure a change or refund.
- Pawzz Doggy Daycare reserves the right to refuse, or terminate the contract of any dog or owner who displays aggressive, destructive or unreasonable behaviour.
- We have a zero tolerance for abuse to our staff this will terminate any contract we have and you will not be welcome back.
- When booking using our reservation system the code is for you and your dog to use only, it cannot be transferred to another dog or person. If you give this information for unauthorised use we reserve the right to remove you from the system.
